    Each earring is set with genuine 27 facetted rosecut garnets surrounding a center oval garnet measuring 0.28 x 0.2 inch. The size of one earring is 2.3 inch high and 0.6 inch wide. They were made in the old alloy \'Tombak\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\')with a rosegoldplating like it was usual in those days. The earwires are made of solid 14ct gold.The weight of one earring is 4.5 gram*If you want studs/posts instead of french wires*If you want french wires instead of studs/postslet me know - we can exchange it with no charge. The size of the earrings can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with. This is huge old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler where I found many old garnet pieces in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The garnets are set in \'Tombak\' also called \'garnet gold\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') a base metal withrosegoldplating like it was usual in these days. All stones are genuine natural garnets.Your earrings come decorated in a beautiful jewel box or pouch.Please keep in mind that earrings are TWO pieces with double quantity of stones compared to a ring or pendant .The **larger stones sometimes may have small natural inclusionsthat can be seen with a loupe if you hold it against the lightbut not with the naked eye or when you wear it.
