This necklace is set with genuine 148 facetted rosecut garnets surrounding a center heart stone measuring 0.36 x 0.36 inch. The size of the necklace\'s center is 3.5 inch high and 4.5 inch wide (see picture).It was made in the old alloy \'Tombak\' with a rosegoldplating like it was usual in those days. The length of the necklace is 18.0 inch and could be adjusted to every length you tell us (for free)The chain is closed in the neck with a springring.The weight of this necklace is 31.2 grams. The size of the necklace can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with._ This is huge old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler where I found many old garnet pieces in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The garnets are set in \'Tombak\' also called \'garnet gold\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') a base metal with a rosegoldwash like it was usual in those days. All stones are genuine natural garnets.??The larger stones sometimes may have small natural inclusionsthat can be seen with a loupe if you hold it against the lightbut not withthe naked eye or when you wear it.
