This bangle is set with genuine 103 rosecut garnets surrounding an oval cabouchon center stone measuring 0.75 x 0.43 inch. The garnet set medal on top is 1.16 inch wide and 0.88 high (see picture).The bangle is made in the old alloy \'Tombak\' with a rosegoldplating like it was usually made in these days. The box clasp was renewed in Sterling Silver butthe bangle itself is the old garnet alloy \'Tombak / Pinchbeck\'The bangle is made of two halves that can be openedand closed with a failsafe box clasp and a safety chain. The bangle measures 2.5 inch x 2.0 inch.(This would be similar to a bracelet of 7 1/4 inchesi.e. a normal wrist diameter for a lady )It\'s weight is 21.4 gramThe size of the bangle can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with. Your jewel is packed in a beautiful bangle\'s jewel box._ This is old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler where I found many old garnet pieces in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The garnets are set in \'Tombak\' also called \'garnet gold\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') a base metal withrosegoldplating like it was usual in those days. All stones are genuine natural garnets.
