Beautiful Vintage garnet bangle set allaround with garnets This bangle is set with genuine 96 facetted rosecut garnets surrounding an oval cabouchon center stone measuring 0.44 x 0.37 inch. The size of center medal is 0.82 inch high and 0.93 inch wide (see picture). It is set in the old alloy \'Tombak\' with a rosegoldplating like it was usually made in these days. The bangle is made of two halves that can be opened and closed with a failsafe box clasp and a safety chain.The bangle measures 2.4 inch x 1.9 inch. (This would be similar to a bracelet of 7.5 inches i.e. a normal wrist diameter for a lady ). The weight of the bangle is 18 grams. The dimensions of the bangle can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The garnets are set in \'Tombak\' also called \'garnet gold\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') a base metal with rosegoldplating like it was usual in those days. All stones are genuine natural garnets.
