Vintage garnet banglewith Vienna engravingsin Victorian style. This bangle is set with genuine 25 facetted rosecut garnets surrounding an oval center stone measuring 0.43 x 0.28 inch. The size of the garnet top is 0.65 inch high and 2.0 inch wide.It was made in the old alloy \'Tombak\' with a rosegoldplating like it was usually made in these daysand socalled floral Vienna engravings . The bangle is made of two halves that can be openedand closed with a failsafe box clasp and a safety hook. This bangle has a diameter of 2.4 inch x 2.1 inch.(This would be similar to a bracelet of 7.5 inchesi.e. a normal wrist diameter for a lady )It\'s weight is 18 gramsThe size of the bangle can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with. Your jewel comes decorated in a beautiful jewel box. This is huge old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler where I found many old garnet bangles in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The garnets are set in \'Tombak\' also called \'garnet gold\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') a base metal withrosegoldplating like it was usual in those days. All stones are genuine natural garnets.
